I started PY after hearing about it from Sophie. I was informed of a group for the over 50's that would help me to rejoin a gym with guidance in class to produce the best results for me which would assist me to improve my fitness and to help with my running.
I started in July 2022 for the initial 6 weeks, and was hooked. My favourite part of the programme is twofold. I enjoy the weights and feel great about being encouraged and able to lift more and the circuit side of the classes.
The main difference in myself (as opposed to noticing I've toned up more) is commitment! I turn up to all classes I book because I enjoy feeling good when class is done! Highly recommend PY to family and friends. Staff are eager to ensure you do your best and get the best out of each class you attend. Also a great way to meet new people.

I started project you because I was so unfit and overweight and needed to have a lifestyle change. I've been doing project you 7 months (this time round)
I really enjoy the classes, all the classes are good just not lunges.. everyone has their own worst exercise 🙈.
I find I am so much fitter and more motivated. I feel stronger and i've lost 2 dress sizes but i don't always feel like it when i get a little off track lol.
I do have my own lulls where I find it a struggle to come but the support is always there when I get my head back in gear and get in which is always an encouraging factor to come.
I always recommend project you to everyone who even says the word gym 😆 I honestly couldn't recommend it enough. It's helped me physically and mentally in so many ways and situations. X

I came to Tanya at my heaviest, needing to lose weight and feel good about myself again. Tanyas approach was welcoming and friendly, which made me feel confident about going to a gym as I could tell she was going to support me on my journey.
She makes exercising fun and enjoyable (something I never thought I'd say) She is knowledgeable and knows how to push me when I don't want to do it. I'm forever saying "no I can't do that", but she tells me I can...and I do.
